The Collection
Each piece in this organic range is influenced by a passion for the natural imperfections of fallen trees, sourced by the maker in rural Wales.
Individual, age-old wood forms are considered for the beauty of their grain, flaws, and imperfections - debarked, then cut and shaped by hand, to showcase fresh, new abstract forms.
Equally, at home in both traditional and more contemporary settings, the coffee table is a timeless design that will add individuality and impact, within both home and commercial interior spaces.
A Truly Magnificent Artisan Japanese Inspired Sugi Ban Coffee Table
A very sculptural organic Japanese low coffee table inspired by the traditional Japanese tradition of Sugi Ban, a wood burning technique consisting of charring the wood, cooling it, cleaning it, and applying oil. The charred surface is stylish and clean. This artisan piece was designed and produced in collaboration with Studio Anj who only uses reclaimed (deadfall or storm downed trees) in the pieces he produces.
