An ancient and striking 18th-century Spanish Castilian console table, circa 1760, this handsome console table is a fine example of 18th-century provincial craftsmanship. The table features a rectangular top with beautifully worn edges and a rich, warm walnut patina developed over centuries of use. The front is fitted with three drawers and raised on the hand-carved open lyre-shaped legs are typical of the antique tables from Spain. The table is both sturdy and elegant, its rustic form enhanced by subtle details such as the shaped apron. 

This antique console  table is in excellent condition commensurate with age and use, with a surface richly marked by generations of daily life. Both functional and decorative, it would serve well as a console/end/lamp/table, nightstand, or occasional piece, bringing Spanish warmth and character into any setting.
