An exceptional pair of Swedish period black painted serpentine commodes. Created in Sweden during the second quarter of the 19th century, each of these pair of commodes features a beautifully curved serpentine front with three simple drawers below, fitted with classical hardware make up the façade, Raised on two bun feet to the front and block feet to the back, the pair of commodes are painted in a black colour showcasing a nicely distressed finish. With their pure lines and unusual colour, this pair of Swedish three-drawer commodes circa 1830 will make for a great decorative addition to any bedroom or living room.
