Originally used for pickling foods, this impressive early 20th-century ceramic jar is coated on the outside with a warm brown glaze. Decorative patterning all over the jar manipulates the glaze to pool irregularly across the surface. Speckled with imperfections and colour variations, this glazed pot exemplifies the timeless appeal of handcrafted pottery.
